It appears to be printed on light weight photo paper and the quality of the photos and print is very good. There is black print on white paper. The photos and print do not show as well as they should. There are 12 inside pages. There are 5 color photos of the inside of the restaurant and the back cover shows a photo of the outside. There are 2 pages of "Facts About the Wharf." There are Four Recipes and a 2 page map of it's location. The last two inside pages are advertisements. "No 9 Fishermen's Grotto. Three Dining Rooms with a View of the Fishing Fleet and San Francisco, Fireplace Cocktail Lounge, and Venetian Atmosphere maintained in the Family Tradition. Owned and Operated by M. This is an A & P Menu Supplement booklet titled "Cook From Cans". It is dated Mid- February, 1938 and is 16 pages full of recipes for everyday of the week. There are also many ads that you will recognize from the past and the present. It is made of newspaper quality paper, therefore it is brittle and does have some tears and folds when it was stored. There are also stains from use. It is still a great collectible and fun to read the cooking practices of that time period.

This is a small recipe pamphlet by Borden's advertising their None Such Mince Meat. It is in good condition; no tears or bends. It does have a stain from use. It has two recipes; "Borden's None Such Filled Oak Cookies" and "Borden's None Such Inexpensive Fruit Cake". There is no copyright date, but it was ob- viously made during WWII because of the cartoon on the front. It is of a soldier complaining to his mother about marking his package "Mince Meat Cookies". It does say "Printed in U.S.A.(2-42),MM 22-B". I am assuming that the "2-42" is the date of printing. It measures 5-1/2" long and 4-1/4" wide.
