A creamer and sugar by Noritake. It is white with a pink flower and flower bud and butterfly. Both pieces have the same design. I am showing one side on the creamer and the other side is shown on the sugar bowl. It is trimmed in blue on the top edge and on the lid of the sugar bowl. They are decorated on both sides. They are marked "Contemporary Stoneware designed by Noritake, Made in Japan, Monte Flora, #"s 34831 and #8422". The creamer measures 3 3/4" tall, 4 3/4" from handle to spout. The sugar measures 5" tall, 4 1/4" in diameter at the base. They both are in excellent con- dition; no chips, cracks, or hairlines.
This is a handpainted Made in Japan pedestal cup. It is trimmed in gold on the top edge, base, and handle. There are white leaves with gold veins and pink leaves trimmed in gold on a pink back- ground. It measures 1-3/4" tall, 2-3/4" in diameter at the top, and the pedestal base is 1-1/2" in diameter. It is marked "Handpainted, Made in Japan". It is in excellent condition.
This is a handpainted Made in Japan cup. It is trimmed in gold on the top edge, base, and handle. It is also decorated in gold with flowers and leaves. It has an embossed swirl design in pink and white separated with gold. The top edge has a slight scallop, as does the base. It measures 2-1/4" tall, 2-1/4" in diameter at the top, and the pedestal base is 1-1/4" in diameter. It is marked "Made in Japan". It is in excellent condition.

This mark is dated at 1926-1929; maker unknown.
