
An absolutely beautiful double holed handled vase by Norcrest. It is pink with brushed gold on the body of the vase as well as the handle and top edge. It has a spray of applied porcelain flowers on the front and a small spray on the back. There is also a small porcelain bow at the bottom of the larger spray on the front. The top edge of the pitcher is scalloped. There is a foil label, "Japan". There is also a stamp "Norcrest Fine China, E 366". It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. It measures 6-1/2" tall (from bottom to top of handle; 4" wide (from spout to outer edge of handle; 3-1/2" in diameter.
A lovely bell in a lustre finish by Norcrest. It is decorated with daisies, fern, and violets tied with a pink bow. It measures 4-3/4" tall and is 3-1/2" in diameter. It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or hairlines. There is a rough spot on the tip of the handle, but it is not a chip. Looks to be possibly a manufac- turing flaw. It is marked "Norcrest, Reg.U.S.Pat. Off.,Created in Japan, PR-100F". It would be a wonderful addition to someone's bell or Made in Japan collection.
A lidded container with a "basketweave" design. It is decorated with white flowers with green centers. There is a band of orange around the top of the lid and around the top of the container. There is also a small band of orange on the base. The lid has an orange and white flower for the handle. It is in very good condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some crazing due to age, as well as some staining. It measures 4-1/2" tall, 4-3/4" in diameter. It is marked "Handpainted, Made in Japan".
A set of four handpainted snack plates from the "Art Deco Period" (1920's - 1940's). They are decorated with blue and orange flowers with green leaves, with a reddish-orange center, trimmed in black. They are in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. They measure 7-¾" long, 6-½" wide. They have a place for a cup at one end. They are marked "Gold Castle, Handpainted, Chikusa, Made in Japan".
A lovely double-handled, silver trimmed vase by Gold Castle. It is decorated with blue, pink, yellow and orange flowers with green leaves. It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, hair- lines, or repairs. It measures 5" tall, 3" wide. It is marked "Gold Castle, Made in Japan". There is also a notation on the bottom stating that it was a wedding gift and dating it "Oct., 1937".
A toothpick holder that portrays a bunny standing next to a broken egg with three baby chicks. It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, hair- lines, or repairs. It measures 3-1/2" tall, 3-1/2" wide. It is marked "Made in Japan".
A nice blue and white bowl. It has a flow blue look to it. It is decorated with a blue flowers with a red flower in the center. It is trimmed in gold. It measures 2" tall; 2-3/4" in diameter. It is marked "Japan". A nice collectible!
A small pink pitcher with two white leaves decorated with brushed gold. The top has a gold border, as does the base. It is oval in shape and has a cross-hatch design decorating the vase. The handle has brushed gold as well. It is in very good condition; no cracks, hairlines. There is a small chip on the top edge. It measures 4" tall, 1-½" wide, and 1-1/8" deep. It is marked "Japan".
A Made in Japan lustreware creamer and sugar set. It has a bouquet of orange blossoms with raised white buds. The creamer measures 3" tall, 2-3/4" in diameter at the base, and 3-3/4" from handle to spout. The sugar measures 2-3/4" tall, 3" in diameter, 4-1/2" from handle to handle. It is marked "Made in Japan". The sugar is missing its lid, but is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. The creamer has a chip on the upper edge with a hairline extending from it. It has no other flaws.
A nice example of Japan lustre. This is a cup trimmed in gray lustre on the top edge, base, and handle. It has a bouquet of orange and yellow flowers surrounded by green leaves. It measures 2-3/4" tall, and 2-3/4" in diameter at the top. It is marked "Made in Japan". Except for a small manufacturing flaw inside the cup and some rougness on the base, which looks to be missed glaze during firing, it is in excellent condition.
