This is from the Heritage Village Collection Accessories, titled Royal Coach. It was issued in 1989 and retired in 1992. It is a horse-drawn enclosed coach with 2 drivers. The 4 horses are grey; the coach is maroon decorated in gold. It is in its original packing and box. It is missing one of the gold chains that is supposed to be attached to their har- nesses. I'm sure that could be easily replaced. One of the horses ears looks like it might be chipped, but there is no indication that it has been repaired or repainted. Therefore, I am assuming it is a manufacturing flaw. It measures approxi- mately 10-1/2" long; 4-1/4" tall. It is marked with the Dept. 56 black and white label. The number for this piece is 5578-6. This is a retired set of two by Department 56. They are from the Dickens' Village Series, Village Well and Holy Cross. They were issued in 1987 and were retired in 1989. They are mint in box. The well measures 4" tall, 3-1/4" wide, and the cross is 3-1/4" tall, 3-1/4" wide. They come in the original styrofoam box and cardboard slide-in box. The box is marked "Heritage Village Collection ",Village Well and Holy Cross, Set of 2, Handpainted Porcelain, Made in Taiwan exclusively for Department 56, Minneapolis, MN, 6547-1 USA".The bottom of the well is marked "1987, Dept.56". It also has the Dept. 56 sticker. The cross is marked the same but does not have the sticker. The cardboard box does have some minor creases from use. This is a retired piece by Department 56. It is a lighted Christmas tree with two children and a ladder that was issued in 1986 and retired in 1989. It is battery operated by two AA batteries with an on/off switch on the bottom. It has tiny light bulbs that are all in working order. There is a boy standing next to the tree watching another climb a ladder. The ladder and boy climbing are not attached; the boy standing is attached to the base. The boy climbing the ladder has had an excellent repair job; barely visible. The tree stands 11" tall and the base is 6-3/4" wide. It comes in its original styrofoam box and cardboard sleeve. The sleeve does have some water damage. The box is marked "Heritage Village Collection,"Lighted Tree with Children and Ladder", Battery Operated, Set of 3, Handpainted Porcelain, Made in Taiwan exclusively for Department 56, Minneapolis, MN, 55344 USA, 6510-2". The cardboard sleeve also has some tears from use and some creases. A great addition to your Dept. 56 village or a great startup piece. Except for some of the paint missing on the lantern, it is in mint condition in its original packing and box. The cart measures 2-1/2" tall, 2-3/4" wide. The taxi is a yellow VW "bug" with a black checkered stripe on the side. On the back door is "Holiday Taxi". The little girl is sitting on a stack of books reading a book. She is wearing green pants and jacket under a red skirt. She is also wearing a yellow cap. This set was issued in 1993 and was retired in 1995. It is in mint con- dition. The girl measures 2" tall, 1-1/4" in diameter. The girl and boy figurine measures 2-1/2" tall, 2-1/4" wide. This is a white bisque bunny by Dept. 56. He has the same finish as the "Snowbunnies". He still has his tag identifying him. He has a carrot in his mouth, with pink inside his ears. He is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. He measures 4" tall, 2" wide. He is marked on the bottom "Dept 56, Easter, 1996". His tag says, "Easter, 1996, Handpainted Bisque Porcelain, Department 56".
