A vintage Holly Hobbie Plate titled "Mother's Day, 1973". It has a picture of two young girls picking flowers. One is wearing a long dress with a pinafore, with her long hair blowing in the wind. She is carrying a basket while she is smelling the flowers she has picked. The other girl is wearing a bonnet and is sitting among the flowers as she picks them. The plate is trimmed in gold. The plate reads:
"Millions of stars in the heavens above Only one Mother to cherish and love Thousands and thousands of flowers and trees Hundreds and hundreds of mountains and seas Everything's multiplied over and over Robins and butterflies, bees in the clover Many good friends to think the world of But only one Mother to cherish and love. Mother's Day 1973"
It is in very good condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small paint chip on the letter "M". It does not go into the porcelain. It measures 10-1/2" in diameter. It is marked on the back "Holly Hobbie, Commemorative Edition, Genuine Porcelain, American Greetings Corp.".
An angel by United Design. It is titled "Quilty Cupid with Flower Pot" from the "Angel Babies" series. It measures 3-1/2" tall; 2-1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition. It is marked with the United Design label "Angel Babies, United Design, Quilty Cupid Flower Pot, AB-032". It is not in its original box.
