
This is a Wade Bally Whim Village miniature of "Kate's Cottage". It is Irish Porcelain. This is #4 in a series of 8 miniature porcelain houses and buildings (1984 to 1987) which were issued by Wade from Wade's Irish pottery. The series is named Bally Whim. The houses are typical of those found in an Irish village. It is in excellent condition; no chips or cracks. It measures 1" tall and 1-3/4" wide. It is marked "Wade, England".
This is a Boyds Bear & Friends box. It is titled "Hidden Surprises". It is a box in the shape of an Easter basket with a bear, a bunny(his ears are missing), and colored eggs. When the box is opened you will find a tiny bear dressed up like a bunny sitting among colored eggs while he is painting an egg. There is a small hole on the side of the basket with a sign above it that reads "Artist Entrance". It is in excellent con- dition (except for the missing ears on the bunny); no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 2-1/4" tall, 1" wide. There is a blue and white striped awning over the front window which shows various baked goods. There are shrubs to one side of the front door and in front of a double window. The side view has a flour sack and box leaning against the wall of the bakery. The back view has shrubs and vines growing up the side of the bakery. A vintage shop titled "Clock Maker". It is a nice ceramic building that would go well with any Christmas scene. It is very similar in size and quality to the Dept. 56 buildings. The building is teal green with cream and brown. It has blue shutters trimmed in brown. There are two wreaths on the front. It lights from the back which includes a cord with a nightlight-type bulb and an on/off switch for ease in turning it off and on. It is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or repairs. It measures 5-3/4" tall, 5-3/8" wide, 3-1/2" deep. It is marked "1991, National Decorations Christmas Collectibles, Clock maker".
